Trump’s Social Media App ‘Truth Social’ Set to Debut This Week

Truth Social, a new social media app backed by former United States President, Donald Trump is set to debut on App Store on February 21. This was revealed by an executive from the company who posted on the test version suggesting President Trump might make a return on social media on the U.S. Presidents Day holiday.

Late last week, using his verified account, the company’s chief product officer, Billy B, answered a number of questions on the app from individuals invited to use it during the test phase.

One user asked Billy when the app which has been available for beta testers for the whole of last week will be launched. “We’re currently set for release in the Apple App store for Monday Feb. 21,” replied the CPO.

Through launch of the Truth Social, President Trump will be making a comeback to social apps after more than a year when leading social medial platforms Facebook, Twitter and YouTube banned him alleging his posts were inciting violence following the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S Capital by his supporters.

Also last week, Trump’s eldest son Donald Jr, posted a screenshot of his father’s verified Truth Social account @realDonaldTrump with a caption reading “Get Ready! Your Favorite President will see you soon!”
