Billionaire and chief executive officer of Tesla Inc. (TSLA), Elon Musk, is contemplating leaving his jobs and switching over to an influencer. Musk made this revelation through twitter where he’s normally very active and uses the platform to make major announcements.
“Thinking of quitting my jobs & becoming an influencer full-time wdyt,” tweeted Musk.
It’s still unclear whether Musk was serious about the matter or he was just kidding however, he didn’t provide any extra details on the matter. Back in January, during a conference call, Musk said that he expects to be the CEO of Tesla for several years.
“It would be nice to have a bit more free time on my hands as opposed to just working day and night, from when I wake up to when I go to sleep 7 days a week. Pretty intense,” said Musk
Musk’s activities on Twitter have also cost him as he was once slapped with a $20 million fine by the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) following some of his tweets back in 2018, he was also forced to step down as chairman.
