Skoda Auto Suspends Production for Two Weeks Citing Chip Shortage

Volkswagen AG (VOWG) owned auto manufacturer Skoda Auto announced that it will be suspending production activities for two weeks due to the global chip shortage which has been affecting the operations of car makers across the world.

The company says that during the two week production suspension period, it will be completing 10,000 unfinished vehicles. Only one production line will be left running during the two week period.
