Consumer Technology Company Nothing Raises $50 Million From Latest Financing Round

London based consumer technology company Nothing says it raised $50 million from its latest funding round in which strategic and private investors took part in. The company further announced having entered into a partnership with leading American chip manufacturer Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM).

Back in August, Nothing launched a transparent earbud which comes with active noise cancellation as its first ever device. The device was launched at a retail price of $99.

So far the company has sold around 100,000 of these earbuds roughly two months after the launch. The partnership with Qualcomm which is a big name in the semiconductor industry will help Nothing to build its future products.

The successful launch of our first product, ear 1, proved that there is room for a new challenger brand to emerge and disrupt today’s sea of sameness,” said Nothing’s chief executive officer, Carl Pei.
