IBM Set to Acquire Brussels Based Waeg

U.S based multinational technology company International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) will be acquiring leading salesforce platinum consulting partner Waeg in a deal which will diverse the hybrid cloud and intelligence strategy of IBM.

Waeg has its headquarters in Brussels Belgium which coordinates services to its clients across Europe. This development was announced by IBM’s senior vice president of Global Business Services, Mark Foster.

Waeg’s strength in Salesforce consulting services will be key to creating intelligent workflows that allow our clients to keep pace with changing customer and employee needs and expectations,” said Foster.

Foster failed to reveal specific details about this acquisition deal he only said that the deal will be closed by the end of the current quarter. Nonetheless, details of this deal will be revealed during regulatory approval since its mandatory for involved parties to seek regulatory approval prior to closing it.

Waeg has a labor force of 130 employees who are distributed across Europe including France, Poland, Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland and Belgium.
