Microsoft Mitigates Microsoft 365 Services Technical Hitch

Leading tech company Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) says it has mitigated a technical hitch issue with Microsoft 365 services, Azure and its workplace messaging app Teams. Following the outage, many users were unable to access services across the three platforms.

We have confirmed that the underlying DNS outage has been mitigated. Currently we’re validating the recovery of the downstream Microsoft 365 services,” tweeted Microsoft.

Outage tracking website Downdetector, had stated that more than 8,000 users had reported technical glitch issues linked to workplace messaging app Teams.

The outage tracking platform collets and combines status reports from a string of sources including user-submitted errors on its platform. Downdetector says the outage might have affected more than the reported numbers on its platform.
