Trump Demands 3 Republican Groups to Stop Using His Name to Raise Funds

Former United States President Donald Trump has issued an order to three Republican Party linked groups to stop using his name to raise funds. This was announced by Trump’s advisor who claims the groups have using Trump’s name for financial gain.

Earlier Politico had published a post suggesting that Trump had sent a sent cease-and-desist letters to the Republican National Committee, National Republican Senate Campaign and National Republican Congressional Campaign telling them to stop capitalizing on his name on merchandise and fundraising emails.

The advisor confirmed indeed Trump had sent the letter to the groups further adding the groups were using his name and likeness for branding. This doesn’t sit well with Trump since the three groups supported Republican Senators who joined Democrats in voting to impeach him concerning storming of U.S capitol by Trump supporters which happened on January 6.

Of late there has been a divide in the Republican Party consisting of a group led by Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell geared towards opening new investigations against Trump and another group led by Senator Lindsey Graham which believes the future of the Republican Party depends on trump’s supporters.
