Google to Introduce Labels to its Apps on iOS

Google Play owner Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) will be introducing app store privacy labels to its applications on the iOS operating system. This is expected to happen in the course of the week or latest next week.

Under the new policy, developers will be required to reveal how users’ data is collected from App store and how also it can be used to track users using Apple devices.

This development was first posted on TechCrunch, thereafter, Google’s spokeswoman made a public statement confirming the report true.

This trend began with Apple Inc. (AAPL) last month after the tech giant introduced new label concerning privacy practices of applications made for users to view before they download apps from App Store.
