Apple to Launch First Ever Online Store India

IPhone maker Apple Inc. (AAPL) is looking forward to launch its first online store in India on September 23. Apple announced the upcoming event which is just a week away further saying the launch will happen coincidentally with India’s festive season which happens in the same period.

Currently Apple sells its products in India through third party vendors and e-commerce platforms like Walmart Inc. (WMT) owned Flipkart and Amazon.com (AMZN).

The tech giant assembles some IPhones models in two southern Indian states owned by chip manufacturer Foxconn Technology (2354) and Original design manufacturer Wistron Corporation (3231).

Through the upcoming online platform, Apple will be offering help to its clients in English and Hindu. Additionally, they will give users chance to engrave their Airpods, IPads and Apple Pencil in English and several Indian languages including Gujarati and Bengali.
